ACHICHA (Dried cocoyam Flakes)

Achicha is a dried cocoyam which is a south east delicacy cooked with Akid or (fiofio) Achicha known as dried cocoyam is a tropical, perennial crop prepared in the southeast of Nigeria. It is a starchy tuber crop with three parts namely; corm, stem and leaves, which is grown basically for edible root.

PEPPER SOUP SPICE

Pepper Soup Spices also contain Phytonutrients, which help break down fat cells and increase metabolism. The water content keeps you full, while the pepper soup spice helps to boost your immune system.

ACHI POWDER/SEED

Achi seed is botanically called “Brachystegia Eurycoma”. It is commonly used in the eastern part of Nigeria by the Igbos, the Akwa-Ibom/calabars. When the seed is grounded, the Achi powder is added to traditional soups and dishes.

BLACK PEPPER

Black pepper, also known as the king of spices has a lot of health benefits and a major benefit of consuming pepper is that it aids in weight loss. It is also said to be good for digestion and prevents cancer by detoxifying the body. When this spice is added to the food, it makes your food taste better and spicier.

EGWUSI (Melon seeds)

Due to its high oil content, Egwusi seeds can be used for making margarine, butter and animal feed. Melon popularly known as Egwusi in Nigeria is mostly grown for consumption in Nigeria.

POWDERED UZIZA / SEED

Uziza seed is commonly called West African Black Pepper or Ashanti pepper. This is the Spice seen in both Afiaefere, Ofensala and Peppersoup. It also helps a person who finds it difficult to have bowel movements for a few days which is caused by absence of dietary fiber.

OGBONOR

Ogbono (Irvingia gabonensis) commonly known as African bush mango are valued for their fat and protein-rich nuts and highly demanded due to its huge benefits.

DRIED BITTER LEAF

Used for preparing the popular Bitter leaf soup. Bitter leaf is used in treating malaria, typhoid, diabetes, diarrhea, tuberculosis, gallstones and kidney disease.
